For the fulfillment of its teaching, the Department has competent faculty members with the high degree of excellence who keep pace with the current developments in their field of specialization. For the overall development of students the Department has outstanding infrastructure facilities, including well equipped class room and fully furnished Geography lab for providing practical exposure to the student. The Department also comprises fair stock of teaching aids like maps and globes and projectors which gives insight knowledge to the subject. Apart from the institute level facilities, the Department has its own computer lab. Also for broadening the mental horizon of students the Department invites experts, of their fields, to organize the seminars and extension lectures varied topics. Not only the class room interaction, the Department also arranges educational trips time to time for nourishing the intellectual personalities of their students. Department has excellent sports facilities and has attained national/international achievement in sports as well as in cultural events.
