Facts & Figures. Blood is a red coloured fluid flowing continuously in our body’s circulatory system. About 1/12 of the body weight of a healthy individual is blood. On an average there are about 5-6 lt. of blood present. Blood is not something that can be manufactured. It can only come from healthy human being. Every healthy human being with age 18-60 years with minimum weight 45kg with hemoglobin 12.5gm% can donate blood.
