The story smoothly moves without the excluded characters and scenes in the movie which might be considered superfluous by the director. The novel consists of elaborate description of characters and sceneries where as there were no such detailed description presented in the movie. The dominating character of the novel is Miss Elizabeth Bennet and similarly in the movie she is the crucial protagonist. The issue of marriage and class consciousness is represented both in the novel and the movie.
